Rockledge CRA elects Steve Lum as chair, Adam Copenhaver as vice chair

A motion by Commissioner Adam Copenhaver to remove the leadership selection from the table was seconded and approved, after which Attorney Garrett Olsen provided guidance on the nomination process. Commissioner David Bucher nominated Lum for chair; Commissioner Frederick “Rick” Sanders seconded the nomination and Lum was declared chair by acclamation. Bucher then nominated Copenhaver for vice chair; Sanders seconded and Copenhaver was declared vice chair by acclamation. Both actions carried by a vote of 6-0.
The selections were made during unfinished business on the agency’s regular March meeting agenda. Commissioner Constance Burrell was recorded as absent (unexcused). The meeting concluded with routine reports and adjourned at 5:56 p.m.
