Rockledge council appoints Amber Brown as city clerk

City Manager Dr. Brenda Fettrow told the council that a panel including herself, department directors and Council liaison Councilman Frank T. Forester interviewed three finalists and recommended Amber Brown for the position. Councilwoman Sammie Brown Martin moved to appoint Amber Brown as City Clerk; Councilman Duane A. Daski seconded and the motion carried without objection (7).
Council did not record further debate on the appointment. The council congratulated the appointee; next steps are expected to follow standard onboarding procedures for city personnel.
