City Manager Dr. Brenda Fettrow thanked the council for her positive evaluation and reminded attendees of Trash Bash on Saturday, April 11 at 8:00 a.m. at City Hall. LeVasseur thanked the council and staff for their support and mentorship over the years. Mayor Thomas J. Price, councilmembers, and City Attorney Wade C. Vose offered thanks and good wishes to LeVasseur.
Councilmembers used their reports to remind the public of several community events: Gospel on the Lawn on Friday, April 3 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Civic Hub; an Easter service in the Civic Hub (date announced but not repeated in minutes); and National Day of Prayer on May 7 in the Civic Hub. No policy actions were taken related to these announcements.
