Hales Corners trustees approve Greendale dispatch IGA amendment and several public-safety purchase orders

The Village of Hales Corners Board of Trustees approved an amendment to its intergovernmental agreement with the Village of Greendale for police, ambulance and fire dispatch services and cleared several public-safety purchase orders at the April 27 meeting.
Administrator S. Kulik reported on the Greendale dispatch renewal and the board approved Resolution 26-23 authorizing certain officials to execute an amendment to the intergovernmental agreement adopted originally by Resolution 16-89, pursuant to Wis. Stat. §66.0301. The motion passed 7-0.
The board also approved purchase orders including FD2026-02 (Fire Department Dry Sprinkler Project) for $23,485; PD2026-02 for police squad replacement equipment install for $15,559.19; and PD2026-01 for a mobile radio costing $7,337.90. Each purchase order was moved by trustees and recorded as approved during the meeting. The trustees further approved a Temporary Class B license for Journey’s Lutheran School’s May 2 gala.
These actions were recorded on the consent/purchase order portions of the agenda. The minutes do not record further public discussion or opposition to the dispatch agreement or the purchases.
