Farwell council asks staff to investigate Harsh Excavating bill, defers Earned Sick Time Act to personnel committee and sets budget meeting dates

Council discussed the upcoming Earned Sick Time Act and voted to defer action to the Personnel Committee meeting on Jan. 21, 2025. The clerk/staff were also asked to engage Fleis & Vandenbrink (Bryan Rowley) regarding water and sewer rates as part of rate study follow-up.
Ross indicated initial work on the municipal budget and the council set budget meetings for Jan. 27 and Feb. 10, 2025, both at 6:00 PM, for continued deliberations.
