Farwell council approves Mill Pond contract amendments and additional services

Council minutes record the engineer's recommendation to certify substantial completion for the work; Trustee Gina Hamilton moved to approve the Certification of Substantial Completion, Trustee Amanda Pfruender seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
In addition, the council authorized $29,500 in Additional Construction Services from Fleis & Vandenbrink on a motion by Trustee Amanda Pfruender, seconded by Trustee Gina Hamilton; the motion carried on a roll-call vote (all yeas). President Tracey Jackson noted the Village had not yet received word from the DNR about Mill Pond electric work and said the Mill Pond pier is expected to arrive soon.
The actions were recorded in the minutes as unanimous roll-call votes; the minutes did not record any opposing views or conditions beyond the trash-can removal instruction attached to Change Order No. 4. The council did not record a deadline for final acceptance in the minutes.
