Clerk/Treasurer Ross Wilson updated the Village Council on administrative matters at the Dec. 15, 2025 meeting, outlining the timeline for the 2026–2027 budget, progress on the BS&A cloud implementation, and the addition of a new staff member who is scheduled to start Dec. 16.
President Tracey Jackson reported there were no significant county updates and noted that the new salt truck is "running good, per Jason," as recorded in the minutes. Council members discussed operational items for the Farmers Market building, including adding floor mats, soundproofing and electrical work, and asked that Rehmann add the new Parks & Recreation coordinator to the village Microsoft 365 account.
The minutes record that Parks & Recreation noted a successful Christmas event and that a Winter Market is scheduled for Dec. 20, 2025. The zoning officer's written report was presented; no zoning actions were recorded at the meeting.
