Farwell council adopts sewer rate resolutions, approves contractor agreement and vendor payments

The council approved multiple procurement and payment items. Trustee Shawn Burger moved to accept a quote from H20 Towers for $4,500; Trustee Amanda Pfruender seconded and the motion passed. Trustee Marvin Frayer moved to approve a Blutech Data quote for $1,540.40; Trustee Shawn Burger seconded and the motion carried. Later in the meeting Trustee Marvin Frayer moved to approve payment of Blutech Invoice 5233 for $17,673; Trustee Jeff Linton seconded and the payment was approved by roll call.
On a separate contract item, Trustee Gina Hamilton moved to approve the DWSRF contractor agreement with the Isabella Corporation; Trustee Marvin Frayer seconded and the council approved the agreement by roll call vote.
The council also completed routine and organizational business. Trustee Amanda Pfruender moved to accept the highest bid of $1,000 from Noah Silvestro for the sale of a Ford tractor; Trustee Jeff Linton seconded and the motion carried with a roll call recorded as unanimous among members present. The body appointed Timothy Wilson (term ending March 1, 2027) and Nicholas Carpenter (term ending March 1, 2026) to the Village of Farwell Local Development Finance Authority after a motion from Trustee Gina Hamilton and a second from Trustee Jeff Linton.
