HR says most instructional staff placed after school closures; support staff placements to follow

"We should have that done early this week," Miss Maxey said, noting the district had prioritized placing instructional staff first and had made progress on front office placements. She thanked the union and HR team members by name for supporting the effort and said employees who had not yet been placed should communicate preferences and check email so HR can match them to openings.
Board members praised the pace and outreach. One board member noted the union's involvement and monthly school visits to assist employees during the multi-month transition. Miss Maxey said the district expected employees to know their placements before leaving for the summer, which she said was a primary goal.
Next steps: HR will continue placing support staff and communicate with employees; the board will monitor placement progress.
