"The Regional Improvement Commission has requested all member localities to indicate their planned budget uses of the funds derived from the gaming tax," the resolution states. Chair and supervisors voted unanimously to adopt the resolution.
The Board adopted the intent while the FY27 county budget itself remains in draft form; staff noted the anticipated Emergency Services budget will exceed the projected gaming tax revenue, and the resolution communicates the county’s intended use to the Commission for reporting purposes.
