Staff presented a bid comparison sheet with a range of proposals; commissioners discussed value versus price and the benefits of a locally based vendor compared with other, more expensive or proprietary offerings. One commissioner said, "In my opinion, we should go with Kerrigan," and another seconded the motion.
The commission voted to award the website contract to Kerrigan Marketing Associates by voice vote. Staff and the vendor agreed to move forward on design and implementation as outlined in the vendor's proposal; the county will receive regular updates as the project proceeds.
