The Village of Farwell council on April 6 approved payment of March bills totaling $88,986.36 and voted to allocate one-third of the Farmers Market’s outstanding debt to the General Fund.
Trustee Victoria Williams moved to approve payment of March bills in the amount of $88,986.36; Trustee Gina Hamilton seconded. A roll call vote was taken and the minutes record all yeas. Trustee Gina Hamilton later moved that the Village pay one-third of the total debt owed by the Farmers Market to the General Fund; Trustee Amanda Pfruender seconded. A roll call vote was taken and the minutes again record all yeas. The minutes do not specify the Farmers Market’s total dollar liability, only that one-third will be paid from the General Fund.
The motions were recorded as carried; no public comment was received on these items. The meeting also adopted the minutes of the March 16 regular meeting on a motion by Trustee Marvin Frayer, seconded by Trustee Amanda Pfruender.
Clerk/Treasurer Ross Wilson presented the tax settlement and March bank and fund balance reports; he also noted upcoming office renovations beginning April 8 and the cancellation of LDFA/DDA April meetings.
