Burnet County establishes Emergency Services Districts 10 and 11, sets nominations for commissioners

At its Nov. 25, 2025 meeting the Burnet County Commissioners Court voted unanimously to adopt orders establishing Burnet County Emergency Services District No. 10 and Emergency Services District No. 11 and to adopt the results of the Nov. 4, 2025 election for those districts.
The court approved language authorizing Commissioner Precinct 2 to identify and nominate five potential commissioners for ESD No. 10 and authorized Commissioner Precinct 1 to identify and nominate five potential commissioners for ESD No. 11; the nominees are slated for consideration at the court’s Dec. 23, 2025 meeting. The motion to adopt the ESD 10 order was made by Commissioner Damon Beierle and seconded by Commissioner Chad Collier; the motion for ESD 11 was made by Commissioner Jim Luther Jr. and seconded by Commissioner Joe Don Dockery. Both motions carried on unanimous 5–0 votes.
