Okaloosa students honored as state academic champions; board and community praise teamwork

Student Colt Stevens of Rocky Bayou Christian School said the win was "just amazing" and credited teachers and teammates; other student speakers echoed that teamwork and coaching were key. Board members and community participants congratulated the students and coaches, and a community speaker noted coach Lisa Nauls repeated tournament successes.
The board gave the students a round of applause and commended the sponsors and coaches; the recognition underscores district extracurricular success alongside academic and athletic achievements.
