Okaloosa board appoints Niceville High principal, names two assistant principals

After the vote, Meyer thanked the superintendent and board and described returning to Niceville High as "coming home," saying she would work to support students and staff.
The board then approved Angelique Cox as assistant principal at Crestview High School and Kaylee Goss as assistant principal at Edge Elementary School. Chambers summarized each nominees career; both nominees spoke briefly, expressing gratitude and pledging to serve their schools.
All three appointments were presented as part of the boards personnel agenda and were adopted by unanimous votes recorded during the meeting.
