The Colorado County Commissioners Court on Nov. 10 approved a motion to release Construction Bonds 0814621 and 0832499 posted by LSLP Colorado Co., LLC for Wild Wing Preserve Subdivision Phase 1 and Phase 2 (Precinct 1), and to accept Maintenance Bonds 0814621-M and 0832499-M for the respective phases.
Commissioner Shannon Owers moved for the release and acceptance; Commissioner Keith Neuendorff seconded. The court recorded a 5-0 vote in favor.
The attachments appended to the minutes list the surety (Harco National Insurance Company), the principal (LSLP Colorado Co., LLC), and the face amounts (for example, Bond 0814621 lists $1,876,673.00 with an expiration of 9/13/2025; Bond 0832499 lists $2,342,307.67 with an expiration noted as three years from date). The maintenance bonds and powers of attorney from the surety are also included in the meeting packet.
Why it matters: Releasing statutory construction security and accepting maintenance bonds are standard steps in subdivision approval and ensure public infrastructure is either completed or covered by financial security.
The court recorded the motion and outcome in the official minutes; bond documents and surety certifications were included as attachments to the minutes.
