County approves Industry Communications permit to place fiber along Stokes Road in Precinct 3

The permit and agreement require drawings showing location, subsurface locates through Texas811 before excavation, that open‑cut trenching be limited and restored to existing or better conditions, a performance bond (minutes list a $2,500 per mile requirement in the agreement), minimum insurance limits (commercial general liability $1,000,000 per occurrence and other coverages), and a 180‑day permit term. For oil & gas industry applicants the minutes list a $1,000 permit, inspection and document review fee and a $500 fee per open cut where applicable.
Commissioner Neuendorff made the motion, Commissioner Darrell Gertson seconded, and the court recorded a unanimous vote. The permit packet attached to the minutes includes exact lat/long coordinates for the start and end points on Stokes Road and technical specifications for handholes and burial depth.
