Warren County board grants 2-foot fence-height variance for Bailey property

The Warren County Zoning Hearing Board on April 22 unanimously granted Lisa Bailey a two-foot variance to erect a six-foot privacy fence in the Whitney Street front yard of her property at 8 Stoney Lonesome Road in Glade Township.
At the second hearing item, Bailey told the board she wanted a six-foot privacy fence along Whitney Street. Zoning Officer Aubree Gonzales said the property’s Whitney Street side is technically a front yard, where a four-foot fence is normally permitted, and that the requested additional two feet does not appear to interfere with the clear sight triangle. No neighbors objected, and Solicitor Timothy Bevevino stated he had no problem with the request.
Edwin W. Atwood moved to approve the variance and Dennis Johnson seconded; the board voted unanimously to grant the request. The approval permits Bailey to proceed with permitting and installation subject to any applicable ordinances or permit requirements.
