The board also moved, seconded and approved another action item (letter a) by roll call. The meeting included a personnel announcement: a voluntary transfer of Adrian Harmon from elementary personal care assistant to elementary cafeteria aide effective Aug. 17. The chair introduced and welcomed new staff hires Jack Vance and Jessica Allen. The board acknowledged a $200 donation from Karen Weddle to help single mothers.
The chair said the board met in executive session on May 11 and May 14 for personal and legal matters. The board scheduled its next study session for June 8 at 6 p.m. and adjourned the meeting after a motion and second.
