Concordia Parish Police Jury elects Adam Probst vice president after Genesia Allen resigns

The Concordia Parish Police Jury on Jan. 27 accepted the resignation of Genesia Allen as vice president and elected Adam Probst to fill the post.
Red Tiffee moved to accept Allen's resignation and Collin Edwards seconded; jurors approved the resignation. Tiffee then nominated Probst for vice president. On a follow-up motion by Tiffee, seconded by Edwards, the jury voted to install Adam Probst as vice president.
The actions were taken at the regular meeting convened by President Cornell Lewis at the Police Jury Room in Vidalia. The panel also approved the minutes of its Jan. 12 meeting on a motion by Maurice Bachus, seconded by Probst.
In related personnel business, the jury accepted resignations of Mr. Fred Marsalis and Mr. Glen Perilloux from Recreation District No. 3 after a motion by Genesia Allen, seconded by Maurice Bachus.
The meeting adjourned after remaining business was completed. Secretary/Treasurer Ariella Carter certified the minutes as a true and correct record of the session.
