The McDonald County Commission on May 29 signed and approved accounts payable totaling $421,085.91 and recorded the action in the meeting minutes.
The minutes, read into the record by the clerk, list attendance as Presiding Commissioner Bryan Hall, Eastern Commissioner Jamey Cope, Western Commissioner Rick Lett and County Clerk Kimberly Bell, along with Treasurer Sheila Fuller, Assessor Sue Ann Stokes, Recorder of Deeds Michelle Barker, Collector Jennifer Weber, Public Administrator Tonya Garvin and Circuit Clerk Tanya Lewis. The clerk also recorded that the commission will reconvene on June 3, 2024 and scheduled the next office-holder meeting for June 26, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.
The minutes state that Carrie Campbell of HSTCC was unable to attend her scheduled presentation and that the commission will attempt to reschedule. The commission also recorded that it received no bids for the Emergency Management building roof replacement and will consider alternative options for that project at a future meeting.
