The committee also discussed a two‑stage public engagement plan: public meet‑and‑greets on June 3 at split locations so townspeople can meet candidates, then a special school committee meeting for interviews. To gather community feedback, the committee agreed to use a QR code linking to a short survey that will ask respondents for name, address or town and relationship to the district. "We're gonna have a QR code that we're gonna have a survey monkey available so that if people wanna make comments, they can go on to that," Stevenson said.
Action and next steps: the committee moved to approve the finalist questions; the motion carried on a recorded voice vote, 6‑0‑0. The committee directed staff to finalize logistics and publish the meet‑and‑greet times and locations to local media once those times were confirmed. A special meeting to conduct interviews was tentatively scheduled for June 16 (to be finalized with members’ availability).
