LaRhonda Patrick took the oath of office as mayor of Warner Robins on Jan. 5, 2026, in a ceremony at City Hall that also included the swearing-in of three re-elected council members and the unanimous passage of routine city business. Judge Catherine K. Lumsden administered the oaths.
The ceremony opened with a prayer by Pastor Tolan Morgan of Fellowship Bible Baptist Church and a Pledge of Allegiance. After the oath, Councilman Derek Mack thanked voters for their confidence and pledged collaborative service; Councilmen Keith Lawrenson and Clifford Holmes also offered brief remarks of thanks to family and supporters.
The council then moved quickly through its agenda. Councilman Keith Lawrenson moved to adopt the published agenda; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The council approved a consent agenda that included purchasing items, membership dues and contract renewals, and it passed a resolution authorizing the mayor to execute a local maintenance and improvement grant (LMIG) memorandum of agreement with Houston County and neighboring cities to pursue bulk bidding for paving projects.
