District staff said some digital platforms operate on a recurring-license model and that the contract language reflected an annual license in some cases. The superintendent offered to pull the music and theater items and bring more detail back to the board. The board voted to approve the remainder of the consent agenda and asked staff to return with cost comparisons and additional contract detail at the June 1 meeting.
