At the hearing finance staff presented a fund-balance report showing $56,000,001.50 listed under capital projects and noted that approximately $50,000,000 of that total represents bonds that were sold. Staff also explained a recommended transfer of $2,900,000 from the Education Fund to the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Fund to pay for the high-school cafeteria remodel.
"You can see it here for capital projects, $56,000,001.50. Fifty million of that is the bonds that were sold," the finance presenter said. The presenter added that, apart from the transfer to O&M, figures remained largely unchanged from the prior presentation.
After public testimony and questions, the board moved and approved a resolution adopting the amended 2025'2026 school district budget by roll call. The board also approved a separate resolution directing the transfer of funds from the Education Fund to the O&M Fund to support the cafeteria remodel.
Board members recorded aye votes for the motions; no opposing votes were recorded in the transcript.
