City staff member Miller highlighted the items: confirmation of Christine Zimmer as planning commission chair (item 6h); the city’s first labor agreement with IAFF Lakeville Professional Firefighters (item 6k); a conditional use permit for Cooper Coffee Minnesota LLC (item 6s); and acceptance of Phase 2 bids for the Fire Station 2 construction (item 6t). Miller said the station bids came in on budget and a groundbreaking had been held earlier that day.
Councilmember Lee moved to approve the consent agenda; Councilmember Burmel seconded and the motion passed with aye votes.
No individual objections or roll‑call defeats were recorded during the consent motion. Items requiring additional review or separate discussion were not pulled from consent at this meeting.
The acceptance of Phase 2 bids for Fire Station 2 advances the project from the recently held groundbreaking toward construction and contracting steps.
