The Solon Springs School District treasurer reported account balances and the board approved expenditures during the May 18 meeting.
The treasurer reported a checking balance of $1,048,486.53, total deposits of $105,473.24, and total expenses of $438,175.83, leaving a pending balance of $715,783.94. The local government balance reported to the board was $2,581,778.51. The board moved to accept the treasurer’s report and approved it by voice vote.
During consideration of expenditures, a board member asked about a line showing 12 Acer computers. Board members said the purchases are lifecycle replacements and are being done now so the technology team can set devices up over the summer and have them ready for the school year.
