Jessica from the clerk’s office told the board that claims batch 30 totaled $345,377.60 (notable items included a workers’ compensation payment of about $68,000, household hazardous‑waste charges and several grants) and that FY26 demands batch 33 totaled $85,036.56. She explained an accounting treatment: cigarette‑tax carryover appears as an expense line in order to transfer the budgeted amount into the next fiscal year for projects, but the county will move that tracking into named projects going forward. "We are gonna move all of that into projects so that it'll be tracked that way in the future," she said.
The board moved, seconded and approved the payments by roll call.
