Warren County commissioners approve multiple appointments, grant-funded stipends and several procurement motions

Commissioners voted to reject a single bid received for the Thousand West (dairy) project—reported at roughly twice the budgeted amount—and directed staff to re-advertise the contract using the original specifications.
Other approvals included Resolution 2026-518A to formalize an on-call policy for the highway department (adding a 30-minute reporting requirement for employees called in while on call), a resolution to dispose of personal property so outdated items are removed from capital-asset and inventory lists, and approval of a salary study meant to support administrative staffing and pay-line decisions.
