The NJROTC team’s out‑of‑state trip to the Seacoast SeaPerch competition at the University of New Hampshire was also approved.
Earlier in the meeting the board recognized multiple York County Teacher of the Year semifinalists from district schools; building administrators and school representatives presented certificates and brief remarks in appreciation of the nominees.
Votes recorded in open session were announced by the chair as carried or unanimous; no roll‑call tallies were read aloud in the public record.
