Administration also secured board approval of several program and vendor agreements for the 2026–27 school year: an operation agreement with La Porte County Career and Technical Education Area Vocational District #6 at a cost of $4,224 per individual student (broken down as $3,936 for student tuition and $288 for room rental); the Northern Indiana Educational Services Center shared dietitian consortium service contract at $5,000; and the Northern Indiana Educational Services Center School Nutrition Consultant Agreement at $20,000. Each motion passed by voice vote with the presiding officer recording 5-0 outcomes.
The board renewed several service contracts: Follett Destiny Library Management and services for all district buildings for $6,570.60 and Final Forms student and activity registration services for $15,247.50. The board also approved an updated transportation employee handbook to take effect in the 2026–27 school year. The board approved overnight field trip requests for cross country, boys basketball and middle-school HOSA competitions with itineraries and dates listed by administration; those motions passed 5-0 as well.
All motions were approved without recorded dissent or roll-call breakdown; the presiding officer announced each item passed 5-0.
