The Uptown Butte Business Improvement District Board of Directors unanimously approved a proposal Feb. 10 to rebuild its website and waived the usual three-quote process to speed delivery.
Board member Shanna Adams said she contacted Cassie Benson, who built the original BID website, and Benson proposed a $5,808 build fee with $100 per month hosting. The board estimated about $7,000 in total costs for Year One and about $1,200 annually thereafter. Maisie Sulser moved to approve the proposal and waive the standard quote process; Cassie Wick seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
The board formed a website subcommittee to supply photos and content: Cassie Wick, Shanna Adams and Maisie Sulser. Members indicated they would model the site structure on the Helena BID website and aim for a quick launch; the website update is anticipated to be completed by March 11, 2026.
