The Fremont Community Schools board approved a slate of personnel actions, confirming resignations, reassignments and new hires across the district.
Chair noted several agenda adjustments to personnel earlier in the meeting and ran the board through resignations and reassignments, including Stacy Hanaway’s move from temporary third grade to a permanent third‑grade assignment and Jada Roanhouse’s reassignment to second grade. The board also accepted a resignation in the Head Start program and approved other staffing motions.
During the meeting the board confirmed its earlier selection of Simon Brown as the district’s high‑school assistant principal; the chair introduced him to the board. The district said Simon will begin as assistant principal for 2026–27 and will transition to principal in a later year as part of planned leadership succession.
Motions to approve resignations, hires and reassignments were made, seconded and passed in open session; where required, trustees noted background‑check and volunteer approvals will follow standard procedures.
