Chair noted the board’s goal‑driven evaluation framework and said executive‑session materials led the board to conclude the superintendent achieved over 75% of the stated goals tied to facilities, safety and evaluation work. "Bill has achieved over 75% of the stated goals and will be entitled to the full 3% raise in the second year," the Chair said on the record.
Board members moved and seconded a motion that both approved the 3% salary increase and scheduled the contract‑extension discussion for the August board meeting so a full board is present. Under the board's calculation presented in open session, the raise will increase the superintendent's salary to $132,000 for the 2026–27 school year.
Several trustees said they preferred to have all members present for any extension decision; the board voted to act on the raise now and revisit the optional third year later.
