Council hears proposal for Performance Flex Standards; Moss Lake Commission urges partnership on budgeting

He said the next steps are drafting an ordinance, taking it to the Planning & Zoning Board for refinement and recommendation, holding a public hearing, and returning to council for action.
Separately, Carmen Scism, vice chair of the Moss Lake Commission, updated council on the commission's priorities for the upcoming year and emphasized the importance of an ongoing partnership with council on Moss Lake budget and capital planning.
No formal action was taken; staff will draft ordinance language and pursue the Planning & Zoning Board review and public hearing process.
