The decision follows a leadership motion listing officials who would remain for the closed discussion, including the director of the Division of Legislative Services, the Comptroller General, the Director of Legislative Information Systems, the Chief Clerk of the House, the Assistant Secretary of the Senate for the day, chiefs of staff for majority and minority caucuses, the chief of Capitol Police and staff, a facilities management director, and representatives from Advantech.
The council adjourned following the vote.
