North Allegheny SD previews 13 finance items including budget and school lunch prices

Mrs. Blackburn presented the finance packet the board will consider at its next meeting, listing 13 items for action and two informational reports.
“Of note, we have two big wins for us: the lunch school lunch prices and the participation fees remain the same,” Mrs. Blackburn said, adding that the accounts payable list, budget transfers and the 2026‑27 general fund budget are among items slated for vote.
Items listed for action include a food service management contract, collateral securities reports, homestead and farmstead exclusion resolutions, tax collection and installment resolutions, technology equipment financing, the AWAD career center budget, participation fees for 2026‑27, and the accounts payable list. Informational items included cash balances as of April 30, 2026, and the April 2025‑26 forecast.
No votes were taken at the May 6 meeting; Mrs. Blackburn closed by noting these items will appear on the board agenda for action at the next meeting.
