West Perry SD names new principals, approves personnel actions, accepts $120,000 STEM donation and advances policy readings

Clark McCready was approved to transfer into the position of West Perry High School Principal effective Feb. 10, 2026, at a salary of $95,000 (prorated). The board also approved Jenna Krinjeck as Acting Middle School Principal effective Feb. 10, 2026, at a salary of $92,300 (prorated) with retroactive pay to Feb. 3. Both motions passed unanimously.
The board approved multiple leaves of absence and a slate of extra duty co-curricular and athletic positions; the employment vote recorded one abstention: Mrs. Miller abstained because a family member appeared on the volunteer list. The personnel transfer and employment votes were recorded in the minutes.
Dr. Dubaich announced a memorandum of agreement and donation from Brooke Butler Wagner in partnership with the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation providing STEM Centers for each elementary school. "Each of the STEM centers are approximately $40,000.00, with a total donation of approximately $120,000.00 in resources, supplies and equipment," she said. The board approved the MOA and accepted the donation by unanimous vote.
The board also approved the first reading of nine policies (including policies 127, 204, 212, 218.1, 610, 611, 805.1 and 805.2); Dr. Clouse confirmed there were no changes since the Committee of the Whole discussion.
Votes on employment, transfers and the MOA were recorded in the minutes; the board thanked employees stepping into new roles.
