Council weighs higher mowing heights, fall dump option and community clean-up

Staff said the cost of the dumpster program runs roughly $5,000 to $6,000 per event and depends on coordinating with the county's free-dump schedule; council discussed budgeting the expense and agreed staff could add it for consideration in next year's budget.
Council also agreed to provide a volunteer representative to present the mayor's award at Century Elementary the next day. No formal votes were taken on mowing changes or the fall dump; staff will follow up with operational recommendations.
