At Parker Center, Erin Anderson presented the ESSA Schoolwide Title I plan emphasizing literacy consistency, phonemic awareness, phonics instruction, social-emotional learning via the Second Step curriculum and classroom calm-down areas; she also described strategies for supporting high-achieving students and smoothing the transition from early childhood programs to kindergarten.
