Kenosha County board meets briefly; chairman announces committee assignments and schedules reception

The Kenosha County Board of Supervisors convened a brief regular meeting April 28, 2026, in the County Board Chambers. Chairman Nordigian called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and the Clerk recorded 20 supervisors present and three excused.
Chairman Nordigian announced his decisions regarding committee assignments and asked the County Clerk’s office to distribute the assignments to supervisors. He also invited all supervisors to the Chairman’s Reception following the May 5, 2026, County Board meeting and welcomed Youth in Governance members Jessica Camacho and Dylan Hood.
There were no citizen comments during the public comment period. Supervisor Meadows moved to adjourn the meeting; Supervisor Poole seconded. On a voice vote the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
The meeting minutes were prepared by Amanda Sorensen, Chief Deputy County Clerk, and submitted by Regi Waligora, County Clerk. The board is scheduled to meet again on May 5, 2026.
