The Kershaw County School Board moved into executive session on May 19 to discuss personnel matters including resignations, retirements, employment, assignment changes and transfers involving certified and classified staff. The motion to enter executive session was moved and seconded and recorded as unanimous.
After returning to open session the board considered administration recommendations concerning employment matters. A motion to accept the recommendations was made and seconded and passed by unanimous voice vote.
The record shows the motions to enter executive session and to accept the employment recommendations were handled in sequence and passed without recorded opposition. The meeting then closed with the board thanking Dr. Goodwin for four years of service to the district and adjourning.
