Park Ridge police receive ILEAP accreditation, honored at council meeting

The presentation came at the start of the mayor's report after the mayor altered the agenda to recognize the accreditation before delivering the State of the City address. City leaders said the accreditation shows the department's adherence to policies and best practices and is relatively uncommon among Illinois police agencies.
