The Lisle Community Unit School District 202 Board of Education voted unanimously on May 19 to approve its consent agenda, which included payroll and vendor pay orders, personnel items and an intergovernmental agreement with Downers Grove District 99.
Before the vote, district staff answered trustees’ questions about the District 99 transition program for students aged 18 to 22. Mr. Markey, district staff, said the District 99 program is “at a separate facility that they operate out of its own stand alone building,” and that families are often offered multiple comparable placement options so students can choose the setting where they feel most comfortable.
Board member Mister Helderly moved to approve the consent agenda; Mister Nagler seconded. The board conducted a roll-call vote and recorded all members voting aye. The approved consent items included, among other matters, the intergovernmental agreement with District 99 and renewal of athletic training services.
The board proceeded to routine financial and treasury reports; staff noted there were no advance questions and none were raised during the meeting.
The board then moved on to scheduled discussion items and public reports before adjourning to a closed session later in the evening.
