City leaders presented Redbird Farm with the 2026 Red Bud Award for outstanding agritourism attraction during the meeting, lauding the owners' investments in attractions and seasonal programming that draw visitors from across Oklahoma and neighboring states.
A city representative said the award is Oklahoma's highest tourism honor and noted Redbird Farm's growth since opening as a Christmas tree farm in 2018. "Since opening as a Christmas tree farm in 2018, Redbird Farm has grown into 1 of Oklahoma's most popular agritourism destinations," a presenter said, listing recent additions including a giant slide, a pumpkin patch and a seasonal corn maze.
An owner accepting the award said, "We're honored to bring this award home to Enid and to Northwest Oklahoma," and discussed how the farm draws visitors and supports regional vendors. City officials thanked the family for contributions to tourism and local fundraising events such as the Land Run.
This recognition highlights local efforts to promote agritourism and support small-business investment in visitor attractions.
