Mayor Jim Levanger told the council he had found a numeric error in the fee breakdown and said he would request a corrected breakdown. He also stated that about $40,000 in USDA-related engineering costs remained to be covered.
Councilmember Kim Erikkila made the motion to amend the agreement; Ralph Brinkerhoff seconded. The motion passed unanimously with all four members present voting in favor. Two council members were absent from the meeting.
The council did not provide a line-item public accounting of the added fees at the meeting; the mayor said the corrected breakdown will be requested and presented at a later date. The amendment covers only the engineering contract with Horrocks Engineering; no other contracts or budget appropriations were finalized at the meeting.
The council adjourned at 11:10 a.m.
