The Lake County Community Risk Reduction Authority on March 16 unanimously ratified a letter of support for a Wood Products Manufacturing & Technical Assistance (WPMTA) project developed by Regenerative Forest Solutions and approved its February meeting minutes.
Jessica Pyska, Lake County Supervisor and RRA chair, moved to ratify the letter of support, and Greg Folsom, representing Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake, seconded the motion. The board recorded the vote as “Ayes: All; Noes: None.” The ratified letter had been developed and submitted in January and was approved by RRA leadership pending updates prior to this formal ratification.
In the same session, Russ Cremer, City of Clearlake council member and RRA treasurer, moved to approve the February meeting minutes; Kevin Ingram, City of Lakeport, seconded the motion. The board approved the minutes with the same unanimous vote tally.
The ratification is procedural: the RRA recorded its formal support for the WPMTA funding proposal; the funding decision and any grant terms remain with the applicant’s funder. The transcript identifies Regenerative Forest Solutions as the project developer and indicates RRA leadership previously reviewed an initial draft of the letter.
The board adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
