At the middle-school level, Zia said La Vista Middle School will wrap up with a refreshed SRO office entrance and final interior updates. Papillion Middle School is set to receive new tile, new gym floors and bleachers, and upgrades to the science room.
Major work will continue at Walnut Creek Elementary, including kindergarten rooms, cafeteria improvements, playground surfacing and classroom updates. Construction is scheduled to start at Patriot Elementary to add a new kitchen and update the secure entrance.
