The council heard two procedural items: the upcoming Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities (CGMC) conference and a change to how council packets are delivered.
The council president announced the CGMC conference in New Ulm, July 22–24, and Alex invited members to register. One member said they plan to attend as a CGMC board member.
Alex also described a technical change: because of a new website, packet uploads must be split into two parts (work session and regular session). He said this reduces staff effort spent merging documents and that members will receive an email containing two links going forward.
Council members had no objection to the changes; one member noted they had received positive constituent feedback about the golf-cart decision elsewhere in the agenda. No formal action or vote was recorded on these items.
