"At its March meeting, the village board directed the plan and zoning commission to...consider the possibility of establishing a moratorium on new office uses within our village center," he said, and the commission recommended adoption.
Trustees discussed the scope and whether to broaden the moratorium to include service uses; staff and the commission suggested keeping it narrowly targeted to office uses at this time. After discussion, the board voted to adopt the ordinance.
